About Maestro Mosaic
Maestro Mosaic is a company specializing in the art of mosaic, continuing the legacy of Salha Mosaic, founded by artist Issam Salha, one of the leading experts in this ancient art form. Issam was born in Maarat al-Numan, home to one of the largest mosaic museums in the world, where his passion for this art began in childhood. He participated in art events organized by the National Mosaic Museum, which helped him develop his skills under the guidance of top specialists.
After graduating from the Mosaic Institute in Maarat al-Numan, Issam began working on restoring ancient mosaics at the National Museum. He also joined specialized training programs in Italy, where he studied classical and modern art under Professor Luciana, enabling him to blend traditional techniques with modern methods, becoming a pioneer in the field.
Journey of Creativity and Expansion
In 2004, Issam founded Salha Mosaic, assembling a team of the most skilled mosaic artists in Syria. The company showcased its work at prestigious international exhibitions in Cyprus, Greece, Italy, France, the UK, and Canada. During this time, Issam began developing micromosaic techniques, using them to design intricate jewelry that required exceptional skill.
As the situation in Syria escalated, Issam moved to Canada and established Maestro Mosaic as a continuation of his artistic journey, while many of his artists and designers settled in Turkey, where they continued to create stunning and intricate mosaic works.
